Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology

Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology [1] is an engineering college located in Telaprolu, near Vijayawada city in Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to JNTUKakinada offering different courses. It was started in 2006 and was nearly 30 min journey from nearby city Vijayawada. It is situated beside NH5. The construction of the campus is still under development, this college having two blocks constructed in the shape of "U" and "R" so when looking at birds eye view it looks like "UR" from the sky. The college has its own epaper "USHARAMA TIMES" which contains the latest news feed and activities within the college. This is one of the few colleges in India which offers "Workstudy" program enabling the students to attain practical work experience along with their studies. Anil Sunkara is the secretary of this college, widely known producer for dookudu movie and also the CEO of Advansoft.
