Unigine Corp is a Russian multinational software development company headquartered in Tomsk, Russia. It is well known for developing the Unigine Engine proprietary cross-platform middleware. The company also has a game development team. Its first title, Oil Rush, was released on January 25, 2012.

The roots of Unigine are in the personal open source project, which was initiated in 2002 by Alexander "Frustum" Zapryagaev, who is a co-founder (along with Denis Shergin, CEO) and CTO of Unigine Corp.[2]
