Tropical Storm Lawin
The name Lawin has been used in the Philippines by PAGASA in the Western Pacific.
- Typhoon Megi (2004) (T0415, 18W, Lawin) – struck Japan.
- Tropical Depression Lawin (2008) (14W) – a tropical depression that was only recognized by PAGASA and the JTWC.
- Typhoon Jelawat (2012) (T1217, 18W, Lawin) – struck Japan.
- Typhoon Haima (2016) (T1622, 25W, Lawin) - struck Northern Luzon.
Due to the extreme damages caused by the 2016 storm, the name Lawin has been retired.[1]
