Torbaaz

Torbaaz is an upcoming Indian action thriller film directed by Girish Malik. The film is produced by Raju Chadha and Rahul Mittra.[2][3][4] Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role of an army officer in the film.[2]

Plot

The film is about child suicide bombers in Afghanistan, who have been trained to believe that killing the enemy is a virtue and glory in afterlife.[2]

Development

The official announcement of the film was announced in the second half of September 2016. The title of the film was said to be Torbaaz.[2]

Casting

The makers of the film decided to cast Sanjay Dutt as the main lead for the movie. Nargis Fakri is going to be the main female lead star opposite Sanjay Dutt in the movie[5][6]

Filming

The principal photography of the film commenced in December 2017 and was shot in Afghanistan.[7] The film was majorly shot in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan making it the first Indian movie to be shot there. The 30 days second schedule of the film was completed on 31 May 2018.[8]
