The Chamanas are a Mexican indie pop band.[1]
The band was started by Manuel Calderon,[2] Mitre Luis, and Christina Gurrola.[3] It later evolved to Hector Carreon, Paulina Reza, and Alejandro Bustillos. The group's music has Central and South American influences. The band's name combines English and Spanish terms,[4] and refers to Shamanism.
