TechEngage is a project of TechAbout LLC, an international software company with offices in USA and Pakistan.[5]

The venture was started back in 2003[6][7] as a project for underemployed tech enthusiasts[8] to meet and gain skills at annual conferences,[9][10][11] but later became a technology magazine and news site for broader sharing of knowledge.[12][13]

Staff

TechEngage.com team covers technological changes as well as news.[14]

  • Jazib Zaman[15] - named as on Pakistan's top tech entrepreneurs.[16][17] Jazib Zaman also remained the member of Pakistan's National Youth Assembly 2009–10.[18] He is also the CEO of TechAbout.
  • Muhammad Zeshan Sarwar (Advocate Zeshan S. Ghumman)[19] - Having completed his Law degree with distinction, Zeshan is a professional lawyer, with multi-dimensional experience in several legal areas specialised in Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Corporate and Contract Law.
  • Nouman S. Ghumman[20] - Having done his LLM from City University, this young graduate advocates ease of business policies in the country alongside corporate laws and business regulation policies. He also runs a local chamber at Saf center, Lahore.[21]
  • Muhammad Abdullah is the current Editor-in-chief of TechEngage.[22]

The TechEngage staff includes writers from around the world and as well as includes contributors like scholars, philanthropists, and tech enthusiasts. Crunchbase lists their staff at 51-100 employees in total.[23]

Every year, TechEngage continues to hold a conference gathering writers and practitioners for healthy discourse on the future of technology all over the world. The conference is attended by people from the US, UK, and Australia.
