Tampines Changkat

Tampines Changkat is an estate in Singapore, also known as Ashford for some of them since 2004, consists of several blocks:

  • Block 101-114
  • Block 117/117A
  • Block 124-127
  • Block 138-139
  • Block 272-298
  • Block 299A/B
  • Block 301-343
  • Block 345-351A

The private housing which is also HUDC flats is located at Block 118 - 123 and 130 - 135 which is known as Tampines Court, and was privatized in 2002, and attempted en-bloc sale in 2007-08 but it failed. It sold en-bloc to Sim Lian Group in August 2017 in a third attempt.[1]

HDB has built studio apartments for the elderly in Blocks 117/117A, which is being built in 2014 called Golden Carnation.

Residents can do their grocery shopping at Blocks 137 - 139 (Market and coffeeshops), together with Block 136 (Tampines Town Council office).

Overview

It is divided into several districts:

  • Ashford North, Blocks 101 - 114
  • Ashford Central, around Tampines Court
  • Ashford East, Blocks 124 - 127 and 272 - 299 & Angsana Primary School, including Blocks 301-351A (excluding 344)
  • Ashford West, Blocks 136 - 139

Schools

There are several schools in Ashford area. These include - only two primary schools (Angsana and East Spring).
