TASCAR

TASCAR stands for Temporary Automatic Speed Camera at Road works, and is the term used by the Highways Agency and other relevant organisations for speed enforcement at works carried out by or on behalf of the agency on the UK road network.[1]

Different rules apply for the placement of these cameras than for cameras used for general enforcement elsewhere.
