S.S. Jain Subodh PG (Autonomous) College, Jaipur was established under the auspices of S.S. Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti in 1954 with an aim to provide value based higher education and contribute towards holistic development of the society. The Shiksha Samiti itself was established in 1918 and will be completing 100 years of its successful journey in 2018. Starting from a primary school, the philanthropic visionaries slowly nurtured the sapling into a grand Banyan tree with 18 institutions with 32,000 students under its shade providing education at different levels and in different streams. Standing true to the vision of its founders S.S. Jain Subodh PG (Autonomous) College is dedicated towards creation of a society infused with moral values, socially conscious and devoted towards concept of social equality. The college has achieved several milestones in its journey like re-accreditation with A++ Grade (3.82 CGPA) by NAAC-UGC in the third cycle, which is the highest grade amongst all the accredited institutes of India and is also accredited with 'A' Grade twice by NAAC-UGC in the first and second cycle. The college has also been recognized as "Model College" by the State Government and been conferred the status of College with "Potential for Excellence" twice by UGC and the award of status of "College of Excellence" by UGC. With a noble vision statement of Amrit Nu Vidya the Institution is striving ahead for the creation of a stronger Nation with its Youth as its Brand Ambassador World over.

College has Five constructed floors with more than 200 classrooms,46 laboratories,3 research labs, 5 conference / seminar halls,Staff rooms, One open-air theatre,Two botanical gardens, Five smart classrooms,Library and Book Bank, Open playground and indoor stadium, Two well equipped gymnasiums, Huge underground parking for staff and students, one girls' hostel with occupancy of 225 girls, The institutional building has provisions to make it Divyang friendly with ramp and elevator.

The Placement Cell provides career guidance and opportunities in various sectors and also provides direction to the students in shaping their future. ICICI Bank has tied up with the college to provide job opportunities to graduate students in banking sectors. GENPACT has also selected for knowledge center which provides job opportunities in BPO sector. MCA, M.Sc. (IT) students are getting project training by top leading MNC's. MCA, M.Sc.(IT) students are also recruited by top leading MNC's. Placement Cell is also providing career opportunities for B.Sc., B.Com. and B.A. Students.
