Story of My Life (TV series)

Story of My Life is a 2019 Philippine family drama iWant miniseries directed by Barry Gonzalez III, starring Zaijan Jaranilla,[1] and produced by Big Reveal Digital. The series focuses on a teenager who suffers from depression and who is being bullied by his classmates.[2][3] It premiered on ABS-CBN on December 27, 2019.[4][5]

Synopsis

The story is all about teenager who suffers from depression and being bullied by his classmates. Rex (Zaijian Jaranilla) is a sensitive loner who is neglected by his mother and lives under the shadow of his brother. His life only seems to be a parade of depressing experiences that peaks with a humiliating incident, which cements his outcast status at school. Despite this, he finds a ray of hope in his budding romance with his crush—until she leaves him thoroughly heartbroken. Tired of his depressing life and being ignored by everyone including his family, Rex makes a drastic decision and disappears from their lives. Rex’s parents make a frantic search for the missing boy, but their hopes are crushed when they finally find a body. They mourn his death and slowly realize that they somehow contributed to the misery in Rex’s life. However, little clues show the continued presence of Rex in the lives of his loved ones, who accidentally stumble upon a discovery that will shake Rex’s family to the core.
