Still Woozy

Sven Gamsky, also known under the stage name Still Woozy, is an American singer/songwriter.[1][2] He currently operates under the record label Still Woozy Productions Inc., under exclusive license to Interscope Records.[3] Gamsky grew up in Moraga, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. He began recording his own music at the age of 13.[4]

His style has been described by NME as "psychedelic bedroom-pop" and "genre-bending" by IQ.[5][6]

Career

From 2011 to 2016, Gamsky was in the band Feed Me Jack,[7][8] which released four albums before disbanding in 2016, citing musical differences.[9][10] The following year Gamsky released a single, "Cooks", under the stage name Still Woozy,[11][12] stating that he choose the name because of his spaced-out nature.[4] As Still Woozy, Gamsky has released an EP and several singles,[13] the art for which was created by Ami Cooks, and four music videos, the first of which was released in 2017.[14][15] Gamsky prefers to release music as soon as possible and will sometimes release a song on the same day he has finished making it.[4]

A 2020 tour, which would have had 31 performances starting in May and ending in September, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[16]
