Life

He was elected to the ACM CHI Academy in 2008 for his "extensive contributions to the study of HCI" and for his leading role in "the shaping of the field".[1] and in 2014 he was awarded the ACM SIGCHI Lifetime Research Award.[2] He was elected to Fellow of ACM (2014) for contributions to human-computer interaction.[3] Since 2014 he has been Editor of Human-Computer Interaction.[4][5]
