Career
Early in his comics career, MacIsaac had short stories included in anthologies such as What's Wrong?, True Porn, Boy Trouble, and Holy Titclamps.[2] In 2006 he collaborated with writer Dale Lazarov on Sticky, a wordless graphic novel focusing on the sex lives of various masculine gay men, which is one of his best-known works.[3] His stories have also been featured in Big Love, Stripped, I Like It Like That, Best Erotic Comics, and The Best American Comics 2010.[1][3] He writes and draws an ongoing series called Shirtlifter.
MacIsaac has commented on how some of his work is displayed in "the porn section"[4] of stores but says "...what I’m doing is no different in terms of explicitness than a lot of underground comics in the 1960s, like Robert Crumb or Spain."[4]
