The wingspan is 23–26 mm. The forewings are light grey, suffused dull bronzy purplish except towards the anterior three-fifths of the costa and along the termen, an oblique irregular bronzy-purplish shade from the costa at one-third. The costal edge is ochreous whitish, with two blackish areas on the posterior half and a linear mark before the apex. The second discal stigma forms an obscure darker purplish mark preceded by light greyish and there is a curved series of cloudy darker grey marks from the costa at four-fifths to the tornus sometimes perceptible. There is also an interrupted blackish terminal line. The hindwings are rather dark grey.[2]
