Stationhouse bail

Stationhouse bail is a type of bail in the US offered to some defendants accused of misdemeanors allowing them to pay at the police station. This allows them to be released prior to appearing before a judge.[1] Stationhouse bail uses a fixed amount in order to make bail for certain law violations.[2]
