Sports Academy Tirur

Sports Academy Tirur is an Indian professional football club based in Tirur, Kerala. The club began competing in the Kerala Premier League, a professional football league organised by Kerala Football Association played in the state of Kerala, in the 2016–17 season.[1]

History

on 24 January 2017, P. Anilkumar, the Kerala Football Association secretary said that SAT from Tirur, is likely to be included in the 2016–17 Kerala Premier League. The club enjoyed an amazing run in their first 2 seasons and ended up at 3rd place in both occasions.

Sports Academy Tirur played all its home matches in the Rajiv Gandhi Municipal Stadium which was located in the city of Tirur.
