Somdutta Singh

Somdutta Singh is an Indian entrepreneur, and was the first women co-chair[1] of NASSCOM Product Council. She is the first Indian member on Philip Kotler's Kotler Impact Board of Advisors.[2] She is a member of Women Economic Forum.[3]

Born in Calcutta, India (1986), Singh works closely with the government on social entrepreneurship and for development of women entrepreneurs. As a Core Committee Member[4] at Women Entrepreneurship Platform, a project by Niti Ayog she has helped launch the Women Entrepreneurship Platform in India. Somdutta's work focusses on investments, marketing and consulting.

She is a teacher at Ramakrishna Mission, core member of Atal Innovation Mission[5] as a Mentor of Change, and a mentor with Google Launchpad[6] that helps global and regional startups.

Education

Singh completed her graduation from Mount Carmel College and earned a PhD[7] from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Motivational Speaker

Somdutta has been a speaker at multiple TedX [8] events. She was also the keynote speaker at the Future of Women Conference 2020.

Mentorship

SomDutta has been actively involved in helping startups across the country. She launched ScaleUp[9] with Government of Karnataka and Bloomberg Quint to help emerging companies and startups. Her work has focused on offering guidance and mentorship to young startups and women entrepreneurs.
