Solo Brathuke So Better is an upcoming 2020 Indian Telugu-language romantic satire comedy film directed by Subbu and produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad.[1] It stars Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh in lead roles. It was scheduled to release on 1 May 2020,[2] but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3]

Production

Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra announced a movie with Sai Dharam Tej and shooting commenced during Tej's previous movie Prati Roju Pandage, and the film was formally launched on 7 October 2019, by commencing a puja ceremony attended by film team.[4][5]

Filming

Principal photography began on International Men's Day 19 November 2019.[6] A scheduled was shoot in Kailasagiri, Visakhapatnam for more than 20-days.[7] A scheduled shoot for 15 days was shot at Andhra University and GITAM Vizag.

The music for this film is composed by S. Thaman. The first single, "No Pelli" written by Raghuram and sung by Armaan Malik and was released on 25 May 2020. Varun Tej and Rana Daggubati were both featured in the promotional video song of "No Pelli".[8]

Marketing

First look of Sai Dharam Tej from film was released on Singles' Day, 11 November 2019.[9] A theme video "Solo Brathuke So Better Theme" was released on Valentine's Day, 14 February 2020 to stay single.[10]
