Sofyan Djalil

Sofyan A. Djalil (born September 23, 1953 in East Aceh Regency, Indonesia) is the current Minister of Agriculture and Land Planning.[1][2][3]

He served as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises of Indonesia in the United Indonesia Cabinet. Previously from October 2004 to May 2007 he served as Minister of Communications and Informatics in the same cabinet. On 26 October 2014 to 12 August 2015, he was elected as Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Indonesia in the Working Cabinet between 2014-2019 by President Jokowi, subsequently replaced by Darmin Nasution due to the reshuffle of the Working Cabinet, he was also Minister National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency from 12 August 2015 to 27 July 2016 in the Working Cabinet and replaced by Bambang Brodjonegoro in the second cabinet reshuffle.[4]
