History

It was initially constituted as a political platform within CatComú in October 2018,[3] under the motto Som comuns, som sobiranistes (We are in common, we are sovereigntist). The goal of the platform was to correct the course of what, they said, was the drift of CatComú, and they were very critical of the role played by Initiative for Catalonia Greens within Catalunya en Comú–Podem. In particularly, they accused them of having abandoned sovereigntism.[4] It was formally registered as a party on 21 February 2019.[5][6] Ahead of the 2019 Spanish general election it negotiated an electoral alliance with Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC),[7][8] agreeing to field candidates in ERC's list for Barcelona.[9]
