Sigbritt Karlsson
Sigbritt Karlsson is a chemical engineer. She is the President of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, she took this position on November 12, 2016.[1][2][3]

In her time in the KTH she has held a variety of positions. From 1996 to 2004 she worked as Director of Studies and as Vice Dean being responsible for strategic education issues from 2008 to 2010.[4]
Karlsson was Vice-Chancellor of the University of Skövde 2010–2016.[1]
She also has an academic background from KTH, earning a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in biotechnology, as well as PhD in polymer technology. This helped inspire her interest in polymer technology, targeting the polymeric materials technical environment.[5][6]
