Sidney Ross
Sidney Ross (born 8 June 1869) was a Scottish footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. Ross was part of the Liverpool squad for their first season in 1892–93, he was the first choice goalkeeper. Ross was a regular in the side until he was injured in a Lancashire Cup match against Bootle. He never played for Liverpool again and returned to Scotland where he played for Cambuslang F.C. and Third Lanark A.C..[2]
