Shradha Sharma

Shradha Sharma is the Founder and CEO of YourStory, a digital-media platform for startups and entrepreneurs. Before starting YourStory in 2008, Shradha served as an Assistant Vice President at CNBC TV18 and also a brand adviser at The Times of India.[2][3][4][5]

On Chai with Lakshmi she has been called "...the biggest storyteller of India's digital space."[6] She featured in a techgig story as one of "5 women Indian entrepreneurs in India you should know about."[7] The Hindu wrote about her as one who has shattered the glass ceiling.[8] Her company has been described as "India's biggest and definitive platform for start-ups and entrepreneurs-related stories, news, resources and research reports."[1]

YourStory has received investments from Ratan Tata, Vani Kola, Karthee Madasamy and T V Mohandas Pai.[9][10][11]

Early life

Sharma was born in a small town in Bihar.[8] She grew up in Patna.[2]

Education

Sharma earned a bachelor's and master's degree in history from St. Stephen's College, Delhi and MBA from MICA (Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad).[3]
