Sherwood Academy (Abu Dhabi)

Sherwood Academy was a private school in the United Arab Emirates. It was a part of the Sherwood Group of Schools. The school was closed due to lack of infrastructure as per Abu Dhabi Education Council rule. The founder, Mrs. Susheela George, has founded "Merryland International School" to replace Sherwood Academy, where many students from Sherwood Academy were transferred. Students of the Indian curriculum were asked to leave the school since the school did not want to continue the CBSE (Indian Curriculum) and wanted only to do with British Curriculum.. Merryland International received a "Very Good" result when taken the inspection of Abu Dhabi Education Council.
