Sheri Berman

Sheri E. Berman is a political scientist with a focus on the history of social democracy, and Professor of Political Science at Barnard College, Columbia University.[1] She lists her research and teaching interests as "Development of democracy and dictatorship, European Politics and History, Globalization, Populism, Fascism, History of the Left".[2]

She has a BA in political science from Yale University and an MA and PhD in government from Harvard University.[2]

Honors

In 2008 she was awarded an honorary doctorate by Uppsala University, Sweden[2]
