Sherenden
Sherenden is a settlement in the Hastings District and Hawke's Bay Region of New Zealand's North Island.[1]
It was established around a school house in 1916.[2] The community fundraised to build a swimming pool in 1961.[2]
The community of Otamauri is located west of the Sherenden village.[3]
Education
Sherenden and Districts School is a co-educational state primary school,[4] with a roll of 59 as of March 2020.[5][6]
Pukehamoamoa School is a co-educational state primary school,[7][8] with a roll of 87 as of March 2020.[5][9]
