Premise

Jack Shannon, a former New York City police officer who after the death of his wife relocates with his 10-year-old son John to San Francisco, California. Charlie Fields portrays John, Michael Durrell portrays Shannon's boss Lieutenant Rudy Maraga, and Al Ruscio plays Paul Lokatelli, Shannon's father-in-law, a fisherman. Karen Kondazian portrayed Shannon's mother-in-law Irene. Bruce Kirby was cast as Detective George Schmidt, one of Shannon's colleagues. The series aired on Wednesdays from November 11 to December 2, 1981, and from March 17 to April 7, 1982.[1] Shannon aired opposite ABC's Dynasty and NBC's Quincy M.E..
