Sex Warrior Pudding

Sex Warrior Pudding (ファミレス戦士プリン, Famiresu Senshi Purin, lit. "Family Restaurant Warrior Pudding") Japanese manga written and illustrated by Hinoki Kazushi. Shogakukan released the manga's six bound volumes between February 25, 2002 and October 24, 2005.[1][2]

The manga was adapted into a three-episode erotic original video animation series produced by Milky. Directed by Katsuma Kanazawa, the series was released by Milky between May 25, 2004 and February 25, 2005.[3] The OVA is licensed in English by Hustler Video and JapanAnime.[4]

Plot

In a hentai parody of Tokyo Mew Mew, a team of magical girls named after various desserts work as waitresses at the maid café Alamode, which is a front for the Global Defense Organization, dedicated to fighting an alien invasion of rapist monsters. Their founder's son, Shuta, is assigned to manage the café while his father is away, and the girls discover that Shuta has the ability to give them a power-up by having sex with them.

The team consists of pure-hearted heroine Pudding, short-tempered lesbian newcomer Tiramisu, shy bespectacled Parfait, hyperactive Jelly, and flat-chested kimono-wearing Panna Cotta. The girls are powered by people's happiness (hence the waitressing day-jobs), and when Shuta makes the girls extra happy (via sex), they gain an Angel Blade-style “outfit,” functional wings, and a burst of extra power.

Reception

Mania.com's Chris Beveridge commends the OVAs for its "good character designs".[5] A later review by Beveridge criticizes the OVAs for having the "most unprofessional" subtitling with "at least one scene where there's five or six lines of subtitles on the screen".[6]
