Plot

The film begins in a village where an innocent guy Seetapati (Rajendra Prasad) loves Seeta (Aishwarya) daughter of his maternal uncle Pichayya (Kota Srinivasa Rao). In spite of being avaricious, Pichayya rejects the alliance because Seetapati is penniless. Moreover, he is loafing which agonizes his grandmother Govindamma (Nirmalamma). Once Pichayya insults Govindamma publicly when she tries to commit suicide. Thereupon, Seetapati vows to reform when Pichayya accepts the match providing if Seetapati upholds himself within 6 months. Therefore, Seetapati moves to Tirupati to meet his childhood friend Ramadasu (Mallikarjuna Rao) who works as a supervisor in a leather factory. However, to his misfortune, Seetapati lands at the Police station where he is surprised to see Ramadasu as a petty thief. Therein, he advises him to follow his path for easy money. Accrediting it, Seetapati heists a bag of a barber Kathi Veerabhadraiah (P.L.Narayana) which encloses his kit. Right now, Seetapati turns as a barber but subterfuges his family members that he acquired a great deal of work with handsome pay.

After some time, Veerabhadraiah finds out his bag. But he endears Seetapati's honesty and gives him shelter. Parallelly, his daughter Aliveelu Mangatayaru (Vani Vishwanath) falls for Seetapati. At one time, she expresses her love when Seetapati asks forgiveness by divulging his story and Manga honors his righteousness. Meanwhile, Pichayya meets with an accident and admitted to Tirupati hospital when the entire family accompanies him. Here fortuitously, Manga is acquainted with Seeta and escorts her to Seetapati. At the same time, the wheel of fortune makes Seetapati reach the hospital as a barber when the truth comes forward and Pichayya reviles him. At that moment, Seetapati turns red out of shame when Manga arrives and interprets his glorification. Yet, Pichayya does not yield, so, the love birds try to commit suicide, but funnily they jump into a shallow pond which makes Pichayya realize his mistake. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Seetapati & Seeta.
