Scotland in Eurovision Choir 2019

Scotland participated in Eurovision Choir 2019, marking their debut at the Eurovision Choir contest.[1] This was the first time Scotland have participated in any of the Eurovision Network events, outside of participating as part of the United Kingdom. The national broadcaster, BBC Alba announced that Alba, under the conductorship of Joy Dunlop would be the first Scottish representatives.[2]

Eurovision Choir 2019 was the second Eurovision Choir competition for choral singers, organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Interkultur Foundation. It was held on 3 August 2019, at the Partille Arena, in Gothenburg, Sweden.[3] The contest marked Scotland's first appearance in any of the Eurovision Family of Events where the country was not represented as part of the unified state of the United Kingdom.[2]

Before Eurovision
