Personal

Sareh Nouri was born in Tehran, Iran and immigrated to the United States in 1989 at the age of 10. Her family lived in northern Virginia where she was raised from grammar school age. She graduated from George Mason University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. She worked on various commercial and non-profit media ads as a graphic designer.

For her 2009 nuptials, Sareh designed her own wedding dress since she was unable to find the right one. This inspired her bridal line which launched in June 2011 with a collection of sashes and six dresses. Sareh Nouri’s line was officially introduced to Buyers and Editors at International Bridal Fashion Week in October 2012 at The London Hotel in New York City. The line was shown again at International Bridal Fashion Week in October 2013. The gowns are handmade in the USA from silk tulle, silk organza and French lace, specifically lace from French lace house Sophie Hallette[1].
