Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran

Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran is a Pakistani politician who has been the Provincial Minister of Balochistan for Science and Information Technology since 9 September 2018. He has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan since August 2018.

Previously, he was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan from May 2013 to May 2018.

Early life and education

He was born on 20 December 1958 in Barkhan District.[1][2]

He has a Master of Arts degree.[1]

Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as a candidate of Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F) from Constituency PB-17 Barkhan in 2013 Pakistani general election.[1][3][4][5]

He was re-elected to Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as an independent candidate from Constituency PB-8 (Barkhan) in 2018 Pakistani general election.[6]

On 8 September 2018, he was inducted into the provincial Balochistan cabinet of Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan.[7] On 9 September, he was appointed as Provincial Minister of Balochistan for Science and Information Technology.[8]
