Sarah Yates

Sarah Yates, working under the name Faunagraphic, is a British artist, known for painting murals, especially of birds.[1] She also paints on canvas.

From the age of 16, Yates studied graphic design at college.[1] She has worked in Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Romania, and the United States,[1] and has been featured on the BBC programmes Springwatch[2] and Countryfile.[3]

Her commissions include a 42 feet (13 m) mural of Harry Brearley, on Howard Street, Sheffield, to mark the 100th anniversary of his invention of stainless steel.[4]

She sometimes works with her partner, Chris Butcher, who uses the name Rocket01.[5] The couple have children,[1] and are based in Sheffield.[5]
