Sanah (singer)

Zuzanna Jurczak (born 2 September 1997), known professionally as Sanah (stylized in all lowercase), is a Polish singer-songwriter. She received nationwide popularity in 2020, with the release of her single "Szampan", which became a number-one hit in Poland.[1]

Career

2019–2020: Career beginnings and Królowa Dram

Jurczak graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in 2019, receiving her music degree with a specialization in violin. After graduating, she began a music career and was signed to Magic Records. Her debut extended play Ja na imię niewidzialna mam was released in October 2019.[2] In January 2020, she received three nominations at the 2020 Fryderyk Awards, the Polish equivalent of the Grammys.[3] Later her number-one hit single in Poland, titled "Szampan", was released as the lead single from her debut album Królowa Dram. [4] In February "Melodia" was released as the second single from the album. It has peaked at number 4 in Poland. In May, a week before the album release, the title track was released as the third single. Her debut studio album Królowa dram was released on May 9, 2020.
