Sam Nda-Isaiah

Samuel Ndanusa Isaiiah (born 1 May 1962) is a Nigerian politician, pharmacist, enterprenuer and chairman Leadership Newspaper Group.[1][2][3][4]

Education

He grew up in Kaduna, Nigeria there he had his educations before gaining admission and studied pharmacy at Obafemi Awolowo University.[5][6]

Career and politics

He worked as a pharmacist at the General Hospital in Kano and later in Ekiti. He became a journalist and businessman started working with the Daily Trust Newspaper as a chief writer before moving to Leadership newspaper.[7] He was member of the founding body of Leadership Newspapers Group and was assistant secretary when the Newswatch Communication was setup in 1984.[8][9]

In 2015 he left the chairmanship position in Leadership Newspaper Group to pursue politics.[10][11] He contesting for president in the APC platform and losses in the primaries but feel the desire to step down for Muhammadu Buhari.[12]He was awarded best media publisher by City People Award.[13]

In 2018, Oba Aladetoyinbo Odundun II, titled him the Aare Baaroyin of Akure Kingdom, a chieftaincy title and received a congratulatory speech by Buhari.[14]
