Saeed Murtaza

Saeed Murtaza[1] was an Indian politician. He was from a SYED ZAMIDAAR family, his full name was Syed Saeed Murtaza. His elder brother "Syed Saeed Mustafa" was the main zamidar, but died early. Syed Saeed Mustafa handed over the leadership to Syed Saeed Murtaza. Syed Saeed Mustafa had one son "Syed Zahoor mustafa" and four grand sons "Syed javed Mustafa", "Syed Parvez mustafa kazmi", "Syed Tariq mustafa" and "Syed Khalid Mustafa". His great grand sons are "Syed Nidal Mustafa", "Syed Danyal Mustafa" and "Syed Saqib Mustafa". Saeed murtaza's sons are S.Saiduzzaman and Syed Saeed Qamruzzaman, S. Saiduzzaman was Member of parliament in 1999 at muzaffarnagar constituency from Indian national congress.

Saeed Murtaza was a member of 6th Lok Sabha from Muzaffarnagar constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

His family is Iraqi biradri Syed and are direct descendants of Husayn ibn Ali (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Husayn_ibn_Ali). During the reign of Tulagh Dynasty, Firoz Shah tughlaq invited Syed Masud Al Husseini descendant of Husayn ibn Ali to fight the local raja. Syed Masud came with 40 warriors and his 9 sons to defeat the local raja. After defeating the local raja Syed masud al Husseini was rewarded with 746 villages and qaziat of 8 places, his lineage is called Iraqi biradri.

Saeed murtaza's family are direct descendant of Syed Masud Al husseini.

Saeed Murtaza died on 30 September 1996 by natural causes.[2]
