History

Sacred Heart Convent High School was established in 1950 by the nuns of the Carmelite Congregation (C.C.R) and has developed into a fully grown establishment imparting education to students from kindergarten up to Xth standard.

It is one of the Schools of the Sacred Heart Society run by Carmelite Sisters (Nuns) and one of the oldest schools in Ahmednagar.

Education is provided through the medium of English and Marathi. School also provides education to poor children in Marathi medium and food facility. Teaching staff is excellent and praiseworthy.

The school celebrates festivals giving information to the students.

The school celebrated its golden jubilee in January 2000.

The current year 2019 principal is Sr.karuna shinde . The school is exceptionally good at inculcating values and providing many facilities for the students. Every year the school has an excellent meritorious result at the State Board examination.

On 26 January 2013 school included E-learning for all classes including primary section.
