History

The credit organization registered on January 27, 1995, and as Restavraciastroybank (Russian: Реставрациястройбанк), but was restructured in 2001 into an open joint stock company. In September 2006, the name was changed and othe legal form became the one of a closed joint-stock company: «RUSSIAN CONSTRUCTION BANK» (CJSC «RUSSTROYBANK»).

Ratings

The Bank is ranked among the top 150 banks in Russia. According to Moody’s Interfax Rating Agency, based on 2012 results, it took the 145th place in terms of assets.[2] According to the "RBC" agency ranking, at the end of 2012, the bank took the 120th place in terms of size of liquid assets,[3] ranked 116th largest on its loan portfolio[4] (91st place on loans to legal entities),[5] on loans to individuals it ranked 159th,[6] and 116th was its position in terms of deposit portfolio.[7] The "Expert RA" agency assigned the bank's credit rating at A level: "high level of creditworthiness".[8]

  • Approved by Federal Customs Service as a registered credit institution and authorized to issue bank guarantees to participants of foreign economic activity.
  • Member of the state program for the financial support of small and medium enterprises implemented by JSC "Russian Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises".

Developing

The bank's equity has more than doubled over the past three years and amounted to 2 500 108 thousand rubles on April 1, 2013.[10] The bank's balance sheet over the past four years has increased almost four-fold and reached 25 236 649 thousand rubles on January 1, 2013. The loan portfolio was 3 818 million rubles at the beginning of 2010, and totaled 15 688 million rubles on January 1, 2013. On April 1, 2013 the number of individual customers reached 77 500, the number of corporate customers 24 580.

As of June 2013, the bank has more than 70 offices across the country. The bank has branches established in the Volgograd and Stavropol regions (in Pyatigorsk and Yessentuki). Moscow and the Moscow region has 40 operational offices, 6 in the Tver region, and two offices in Voronezh and Kaluga.

Mortgage loans

Accredited bank by the state company JSC "Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending" (HMLA).[11] According to the "RBC" agency, in 2012, the bank took the 47th place in the rating of Russian banks in terms of mortgage loans.[12]
