The current president of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences is Kuznetsov Oleg Leonidovich. The current Vice President and Chief Secretary is Ivanitskaya Lida Vladimirovna.[3]

The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences does not have any association with the Russian Academy of Sciences and has come under criticism for the fact that many of its members do not have any scientific credentials and because some of its members peddle pseudoscience,[4][5][6] such as Anatoly Fomenko's "New Chronology".
