Ruslan Batyrshin

Ruslan Alievich Batyrshin (born February 19, 1975) is a former professional hockey player in the National Hockey League. Batyrshin was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 4th round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. He is an ethnic Tatar. As a youth, he played in the 1989 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Moscow.[1]
