Roshanpura

Village New Roshan Pura, also known as Dichaon Khurd, is an urbanised village in South West district in the Indian state of Delhi. It is adjacent to Dichaon Kalan (see Khurd and Kalan) in Najafgarh tehsil. It is inhabited mainly by Shokhanda (also known as Shokeen) Jat clan. It is a planned village with wide roads and all the basic facilities: proper water supplies, sewage etc.

The village donated 22 Acres of land to Delhi government in 1988 to build college for them but it has not yet been built.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Roshan Pura alias Dichaon Khurd had a population of 38,580. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Roshan Pura alias Dichaon Khurd has an average literacy rate of 92%. In Roshan Pura alias Dichaon Khurd, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
