Romanch Rajendran

Romanch is an Indian film actor, who appears in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut with the 2013 film Hotel California (2013), in a supporting role.

Personal life

Romanch was born in New Delhi and did his schooling from Loyola School, Trivandrum; VidyaPrakash Public School, Vatakara and SpringValley School, Calicut. He has a bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology and was working as a Project Manager in the IT industry when he started getting opportunities in movies.

Career

He has acted in a supporting role in the Malayalam romantic-drama film Angry Babies in Love, directed by Saji Surendran. In 2013, he also appeared in the role of a murder suspect in the movie Silence (2013) directed by V K Prakash starring Mammootty. He enacted the character of Kunju Marakkar in the big budget Kayamkulam Kochunni directed by Rosshan Andrrews which involved sharing screen space and working closely with Mohanlal. Romanch who was part of the gang of thieves led by Ithikkara Pakki, played by Mohanlal and later becoming close compatriots of Kochunni, played by Nivin Pauly was widely appreciated for the risky and dangerous stunts in the movie. He had learned horse riding and martial arts for the portrayal of his role of Kunju Marakkar. In the upcoming film, Article 21, he plays the crucial role of Victor a physical education teacher who is a good Samaritan with a golden heart and is instrumental in changing lives of few for the better.
