Research in Sri Lanka

There is much research going on in Sri Lanka. Most is done through universities, government organizations, semi governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations. The research is funded by both Sri Lankan and foreign entities.

Funding

The apex body in Sri Lanka for government research funding is the National Research Council of Sri Lanka.[1]

  • Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies is a major research institution, and the national focal point for space technology applications in Sri Lanka.[2]
