Renee Pountney

Renee Pountney (born 18 April 2000) is an Australian soccer player, who plays for Newcastle Jets in the W-League.[1]

Pountney is a Newcastle local and is a product of the Newcastle academy.[1] She made her debut in the 2018–19 W-League where she played 5 matches.[2]

Her 2019–20 W-League season was interrupted through injury, but she played 4 matches at the end of the season, mostly off the bench. In her match against Adelaide United she scored her first goal in a 2–0 victory in round 11.[3][4]
