Regnum (video game)

Regnum (full title: REGNUM: En busca de la dominacion total’) is an Argentinian real time strategy video game. It is the first Argentinian video game released on CD,[1] developed by the first game development company in Argentina, Conde Entertainment Software.[2] A sequel was released titled Regnum II.

The team leader of the project is Andres Chilkowski.[2] Andres and a friend wished to create an RTS game similar to Dune 2, leading to the development of Regnum. The friend served as a designer and script writer.[2]

The game was published in 1995 to widespread distribution, selling around 10,000 copies.[3]

After releasing this title, Conde would release a few more games before closing down from financial difficulties.[3]

In 2002, Andres opened up NGD Studios and released Regnum Online.[2]
