Ray Isaac (singer)

Ray Isaac is an Australian singer and songwriter.[1] He has been featured on the Billboard Dance Charts, Italy Pop Charts, and ARIA Charts. His songs have appeared in films such as Cedar Boys, Eating Out: The Open Weekend and Half Share, and television shows such as Famous in 12.

Career

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia,[3][4] Isaac's 2006 debut collaborative single "I Don't Give A Damn" topped ARIA charts at rank 11 and was featured on a Ministry of Sound compilation, a label of Universal Music.[5] "U Want or U Don't", his second single, in 2011 reached AIR Charts ranking number 7. His third single, "Who I Am" was released in 2014 and was featured in anti-bullying campaigns in the United States and Indonesia.[6][7]

Isaac wrote "Feel The Vibe", 2015, performed by Bob Sinclar featuring Dawn Tallman, which peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Dance Charts,[8][9] number 11 on the Italian Pop charts, and earned a FIMI Gold certification.[10][11][12] The song was also featured on NRJ radio and made their Top Hit album for the year.[12] The music video HIDING (2015) features Isaac and issues of same-sex electroshock therapy and forced marriage, and won several awards, including Best Music Video.[13][14] He also appeared in the film, Dancin': It's On!, 2015, starring the winners of So You Think You Can Dance (US).[2] Ray also tours and performs as a pop DJ, playing pop house remixes with often brooding tribal undertones.[15][2] Two of his songs, "I Don't Give A Damn" and "Such A Fool", were featured in the film Cedar Boys.[2]
