Ranganayaki (2019 film)

Ranganayaki Volume 1: Virginity is a 2019 Indian Kannada drama film written and directed by Dayal Padmanabhan.[1][2] The film is produced by S.V.Narayan under his banner S.V. Entertainment. It features Aditi Prabhudeva[3] and MG Srinivas along with Trivikram Srinivas who is making his debut in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Lasya Nagraj, Suchendra Prasad and Chakravthy Chandrachud. The score and soundtrack for the film is by Manikanth Kadri and the cinematography is by Rakesh.B.The editing of the film is done by Sunil Kashyap.H.N.The film before getting released is selected to Panorama Section of 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), and is the alone Kannada film that has got selected.[4]

Production And Release

The film was announced on 28 March 2019. The principal photography of the film began from 26 April 2019 by reveling its first teaser.[5] The film had Aditi Prabhudeva[6] as the lead along with MG Srinivas and Trivikram Srinivas. Then Manikanth Kadri was on board to score music. The film released its first trailer on 3 September 2019. The film launched its first song on 12 September 2019. The film after getting selected to Panorama Section of 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), released it second trailer on 28 October 2019.[7] The film is released on November 1, 2019 on account of Kannada Rajyotsava.[8]
