Rana Liaqat Ali

Rana Liaqat Ali is a Pakistani politician who has been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since August 2018. Previously he was a member of the Punjab Assembly from May 2013 to May 2018. He is a popular overseas Pakistani in Germany where he spent 35 years of his life.

Early life and education

He was born on 1 January 1959 in Sialkot.[1]

He has received Matriculation level education.[1]

Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) from Constituency PP-126 (Sialkot-VI) in 2013 Pakistani general election.[2][3]

He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as an independent candidate from Constituency PP-39 (Sialkot-V) in 2018 Pakistani general election.[4]

Following his successful election, he joined PML-N.[4]
