Rakesh Singha

Rakesh Singha (born 8 December 1956) is an Indian politician and a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).[1]

Singha is a current member of legislative assembly (MLA) in Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly (elected in 2017) from the Theog Constituency.[2][3] From 1993 to 1996, he was a member of legislative assembly (MLA) from Shimla constituency in Shimla district.[4][5][6] He had to resign after he got convicted in a murder case.[7]

Singha is a Member of the Central Committee of the CPI(M) in Himachal Pradesh.[8]
