Rajendra Prasad (filmmaker)
Rajendra Prasad is an Indian film cinematographer turned screenwriter, and director known for his works in Telugu cinema.[1] An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India, he made films across various Indian languages. Prasad is a Science graduate from Osmania University and graduate in Law from the University of Mumbai. In 1995 he founded his own production company, "Amateur Artists".[2] In 1995, he scripted, and directed Nirantaram, based on the 1948 Telangana Rebellion.[3] Produced by Chandra Siddhartha, and Film and Television Institute of India, the film received special mention at Cairo International Film Festival, and Locarno Festival.[4][5]
